Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Oscab Ride app and website. By creating an account or requesting a ride, you agree to them.

1. The service

Oscab Ride is a technology platform that connects riders with independent drivers across Ghana. We arrange transportation; drivers provide it.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 to create an account.
• Keep your phone number and login details secure — you're responsible for activity on your account.
• Provide accurate information, including a working mobile money number if you pay by MoMo.

3. Fares & payment

• Fares are quoted upfront in Ghana Cedis (GH₵) before you confirm a trip.
• Fares may adjust if you change destination mid-trip or the driver waits beyond the free waiting time.
• You may pay by MTN Mobile Money, Telecel Cash, AT Money or cash.

4. Rider conduct

• Treat drivers and vehicles with respect. Repeated low ratings or abusive behaviour may lead to suspension.
• Okada trips carry one passenger and require wearing the provided helmet; Pragia trips carry at most three passengers.

5. Oscab Eats & Shops

• Food, grocery and pharmacy orders are prepared by independent restaurants and shops; they are responsible for the quality and availability of what they sell.
• Order totals, delivery fees and estimated delivery times are shown before you confirm.
• If an order arrives wrong or incomplete, contact support within 24 hours and we will make it right with the vendor.

6. Drivers

Drivers are independent partners, not employees. Driver onboarding, commissions and payouts are governed by the separate Driver Agreement provided during sign-up.

7. Liability

We work hard to keep every trip safe and reliable, but the service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by Ghanaian law, Oscab Ride is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the new terms.
